Story of Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar system and is the third brightest object in the night sky after the Moon and Venus. The planet, named after Jupiter, the chief god in Roman mythology, is also known as the "gas giant". In Greek mythology, it is associated with Zeus, as it is the largest planet.
For this reason, the Romans gave this planet the name of Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. Venus' counterpart in Greek mythology is Aphrodite. According to Homer, Venus (Aphrodite) is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.
